I have always been absolutely dumbfounded when viewing this world we live in. From its beautiful peaks and valleys to its more complex molecular compounds to our own brilliant minds–this world is pretty darn awesome, and I hope you’d agree.

Sadly though, the awe-inspiring aspects of learning about our world are sometimes taught in very dull ways. I aim to put an end to boring lectures, relate difficult concepts to much more familiar ones, and find an equilibrium between learning and having fun. The way we are taught to look at the problems we’re given in the classroom is the problem in itself. Learning should be fun!

When I’m not with my students, I’m most likely in one of my own classes at UCLA. Writing has always been my outlet of choice, so in my free time, I’m usually either nose deep in a book or writing material of my own. I also spend a lot of my time outside with nature, and I love to shoot pool.
